Contacts
Pulse Contacts is your address book — every person at every company you sell to, support, or partner with.
Create a contact
From Pulse → Contacts → + New:
- First name + last name
- Email + phone
- Job title + company
- Contact type — Stakeholder / Sponsor / SME / Client / Supplier / Other
- Is key contact — flag for the primary point of contact at the company
- Linked project — every contact belongs to a project (sales contacts → "Business Development" project)
- Notes — anything useful
Or ask Sage
"Add Sarah Mitchell as a sponsor contact on Cabinet Office Zero Trust — sarah.mitchell@cabinetoffice.gov.uk, Programme Director"
Sage drafts and confirms.
Linking contacts to opportunities & bids
When you create an opportunity or bid you can pick a contact from your existing list. This shows on the opportunity/bid detail page and surfaces relevant comms history.
Searching
The Contacts list supports full-text search across name, email, company and job title. Filters available for contact type, key contact flag, and company.
Interactions log
Each contact has an interactions tab — log meetings, calls, emails. Useful for keeping context as deals progress and contacts move companies.
Tips
- One contact per person. Don't create duplicates if someone moves company — update their employer.
- Mark key contacts. They surface in the Pulse dashboard so you don't lose track of your most important relationships.
- Notes are searchable. Use them — a 2-line "met at the AWS conference, interested in Q3" pays back when you need to remember.
