Engagement tracking captures how the team feels — pulse surveys, 1:1 feedback, recognition.

Pulse surveys

Run regular short surveys (5-10 questions, 5 minutes):

  • Tribe → Engagement → Surveys → + New survey
  • Build from templates (e.g. eNPS, manager effectiveness, wellbeing)
  • Set frequency (monthly / quarterly)
  • Send to all or specific cohorts

Results are anonymous by default. Cohort minimum is 5 — Sageon Business won't show a result for a group smaller than that to protect anonymity.

Feedback

Capture qualitative feedback:

  • 360 reviews
  • Manager 1:1 notes
  • Anonymous suggestions

Recognition

A lightweight peer-recognition flow:

  • Anyone can recognise anyone
  • Tied to values / company principles
  • Visible org-wide (or private to recipient)

Engagement metrics

  • eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score)
  • Survey response rate
  • Trend over time — improvement / decline
  • Cohort splits (by department / tenure / manager)

Tips

  • Survey less often than you think. Quarterly > monthly for most things.
  • Act on results. Surveys without visible action are worse than no surveys.
  • Share results back. Anonymous results, summarised — show the team you heard them.
