Compliance and mandatory training

Tribe tracks the compliance side of HR: right-to-work documents, GDPR awareness, fire safety, health & safety, and any other mandatory training your org requires.

What's pre-loaded

Sageon Business ships 7 UK-standard mandatory training modules:

  1. Fire Safety Awareness
  2. Display Screen Equipment (DSE)
  3. Manual Handling Operations
  4. Health and Safety at Work
  5. Data Protection and UK GDPR
  6. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
  7. Cyber Security Awareness

Each module has content sections, a quiz, a pass score (default 80%), and a refresh interval (default 12 months).

How it works

  1. New employees are auto-assigned all active modules
  2. They work through each at their own pace
  3. They take the quiz at the end
  4. Pass → recorded with score + date
  5. Sageon Business tracks when refreshes are due

Compliance dashboard

Tribe → Compliance shows:

  • Org-wide completion rate
  • Per-module completion
  • Employees with expired / about-to-expire certifications
  • Right-to-work document status

Right-to-work

For each employee you can upload right-to-work documents (passport, visa, share code). Sageon Business tracks expiry dates and flags 90 / 60 / 30 days before expiry.

Tips

  • Don't customise too aggressively. UK-standard modules cover most legal obligations. Custom modules should be additive, not replacements.
  • Track expiry, not just completion. A certification that expires Tuesday is your problem on Wednesday.
