Pulse (CRM) overview

Pulse is Sageon Business's built-in CRM — pipeline, opportunities, contacts, bids and campaigns in one place. It replaces standalone CRM tools like HubSpot or Pipedrive for delivery-led organisations.

What's included

  • Opportunities — pipeline tracking through Prospect → Qualified → Proposal → Negotiation → Won/Lost
  • Contacts — people and companies you sell to
  • Bids — formal proposals with bid calculator
  • Campaigns — marketing/sales campaigns with budgets and metrics
  • Interactions — log of meetings, calls and emails

The Pulse → Project handoff is built-in: when you win a bid, click Convert to project and Sageon Business creates a project pre-populated from the bid.

The Pulse landing page shows:

  • Contacts, key contacts, opportunities, active bids, follow-ups counts
  • Pipeline £ by stage (chart)
  • Deals by Count and Value (donut)
  • Campaign list + status

Who can see Pulse

By default Pulse is restricted to Admin role (commercial data). Loosen via Settings → Permissions → Pulse (CRM) → View.

Tips

  • One opportunity per pursuit. Don't fragment a single deal into 5 opportunities.
  • Convert bids to projects on win, not before. Pre-converting creates ghost projects in your delivery pipeline.
